About Us
As the owner of the property and nursery, Nathan Bajada has a strong interest and love for gardening- especially parkland type settings. Our own personal gardens include, natural water falls, Australian natives, ornamental feature trees and undulating green lawns. Our farm also includes a grow your own food nursery and orchard.
The nursery is located on our property In Cardigan Victoria, just outside of Ballarat. Our personal gardens stretch around our home, dams and shedding to create a private sanctuary that is enjoyed by Nathan, his partner, young daughter and some animals.
Our focus - is to provide Ballarat with quality trees at competitive pricing. We offer a unique buying experience because you can browse our range knowing that every single tree is suitable for our local climate.
Some many years ago, we moved to our rural hobby farm in Cardigan, Victoria.
As soon as we arrived, with a bare paddock, we purchased 400 tube stock of native trees and, as new gardeners we eagerly planted them, expecting them to thrive and become a forest in no time!

A month later, unexpectedly in mid November, we had terrible black frost which killed about 390 of our newly planted trees! This was absolutely heart-breaking.
From this day on, we learnt that planting a more advanced tree was much more successful! They held up to the frosts and heat better and grew at a much quicker rate with some tender loving care in our home nursery"
