A new release from Fleming’s Pyrus ‘DiscoBall’A* is a very round form of ornamental pear that offers vibrant autumn foliage.   Tree does produce thorns.
 
Quite small silver-green foliage emerges in spring.
The silver-green foliage will shimmer in the breeze.  
Autumn foliage will turn tones of orange. Small, creamy-white flowers are produced in spring. Flowers are not as showy as other Pyrus varieties and can tend to blend in with foliage.
Under favourable conditions insignificant inedible green fruit may be produced.
 
Hardy plant that is highly adaptable but prefers moist, well drained soils.
Grows to 4 x 4 metres.
